Spring Park

The Ladies of the Spring Park Community Association held their annual chicken sup per at the hall on November 14th. Bingo was also played. Among those present included Hon. Ray Reierson and Dr. and Mrs. F. G. Miller. The raffle of a 22 automatic rifle was won by Ray Hellquist.

We are sorry to hear that Mrs. Ed Scott is a patient in the Elk Point hospital. We all wish for a speedy recovery.

Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Brown.  formerly of Spring Park and now of Uranium City are the proud parents of a baby boy.

Mr. and Mrs. Gus Hellquist and Mrs. George Jacobson spent, the week-end in Edmonton visiting their daughters and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Libich and Miss Marjorie Jacobson.

On November 22nd Mr. and  John Holley will celebrate their silver Wedding anniversary. We would like to take this opportunity to wish them many more happy years.

Mr. Rufus Keppe had the misfortune of injuring his shoulder while employed in Edmonton. He is confined to the compensation hospital.

The Spring Park district is enjoying the new look. Power lines and poles are being erected and service should commence in the near future.

The December meeting of the Ladies' Club will be held at the home of Mrs. Nick Myshaniuk. Don™t  forget the Xmas pies gals!
